I am interested in the manipulation of color to create works that are an emotional response to the natural world. My memories, experiences, and environment come into play as I immerse my consciousness into the painter's mind set. This is the place where interior space and time become a meditation and the intellect is allowed to drift. One attempts to move through and with the process, not locating on any single element but instead seeing, responding, and only later, de-coding.
