This relief was produced for the 50th anniversary of the allied landing at Inchon, Korea which was conceived by General Mac Arthur and considered one of the boldest events in military history. The memorial was placed in Mac Arthur Park in Inchon.

U.S. Navy Stained Glass Window

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- During the World War II Submarine Window Dedication at the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation June 10, the Navy unveiled a bronze and stained-glass window, honoring those who served in submarines.
The scene in the stained-glass window reveals the depth of the submariner's terrain, from the water's surface to the dark deeps, said Leo C. Irrera, who designed the unique bronze and stained-glass window, and sculpted the intricate bronze portions. He worked closely with R. Leo Pelkington, who crafted the stained glass.
